Method & Mantle LLC is a fractional Chief of Staff practice founded by Shanshan Thompson in 2025. We help founder-CEOs of 1–50 person teams translate priorities into execution, install operating rhythm, and reduce the daily coordination load that quietly slows companies down.
The name reflects the work itself: method — the systems, structure, and cadence that make a team run; mantle — the responsibility a Chief of Staff picks up so the founder doesn't have to carry every operational decision alone.
We operate virtually worldwide, with select in-person engagements in Blacksburg, Virginia.

I'm not an executive assistant, and I'm not a generic consultant delivering advice from the sidelines. I work as an embedded operational partner — translating priorities into execution, creating structure across moving parts, and keeping the company's internal rhythm strong as complexity increases.
